Interesting, who would have thought? I dunk stinky machines in soapy water!

A nice and simple solution! I have one that still smells of construction dust with which I really should try this. Funny, I have a vintage set of drawers that I used scented drawer liners to get rid of the mustiness. Same principle but it didn't click to use it with typewriters.

That's a really good idea, and now that I know that it works, and because lavender's out here at the moment, I'll be shoving a few bunches in a few smelly typewriter cases!
Thanks for tip.

Great idea, environmentally friendly and Mother nature at her best.

That's an interesting character set on your Antares!

Glad to hear - will try this myself next season.

A great idea that makes sense. I plan to try fresh lavender in some of my old moldy-smelling trumpet and horn cases!
