I couldn't have said it better, even though I tried. In my case, I'm old enough to have used typewriters at school, but I also came of age using personal computers before there was such a thing as the Internet (at least as we know it). For 25 years computers occupied my mind. And now I'm really enjoying my daily disconnection sessions with the (mechanical) typewriter in turn.

I believe that this is the very article, written in the Spring of 2011, that rekindled my long-dormant interest in typewriters!
